Docks For a Clean Lagoon
News and Events
On 17 October 2026, Barbara Brown of Docks for a Clean Lagoon, along with Caleta Scott from One Lagoon, spoke to the Indian River Freeholders Association. It is a local organization composed of people who live on South Indian River Drive in Fort Pierce. The presentation took place at the Walton Community Center and was well received. Thank you to the members who attended for welcoming us and for your interest, thoughtful discussion and willingness to be stewards of the Lagoon.
We look forward to working with those of you who signed up for VOGs or to volunteer.

The Vertical Oyster Garden Workshop and "Our Lagoon - Our Legacy" Program September 19, 2026 at the historic Saint Lucie (Village) School in Fort Pierce was well attended and an excellent program to introduce more of the public to the importance of oyster restoration.
Thanks to the Florida Remembered Society for hosting such a compelling program and to the Summerlin family for the delicious refreshments.
